鈥淚 took one trip with a friend to deliver their load and that鈥檚 when I decided right away this is what I want to do,鈥� Norfleet says. 鈥淭he feeling of freedom was intoxicating.鈥�
Norfleet is currently with A2B Synchronized Logistics, a company she joined just under a month ago. Her passion for trucking continues to grow each day, driven by the adventures and new experiences the road brings. But it hasn鈥檛 always been easy.
鈥淒riving a truck isn鈥檛 for the faint of heart. It鈥檚 a difficult job, and being a woman can sometimes increase that difficulty,鈥� she says.
Norfleet credits her strong support system, especially her family, for helping her stay motivated through challenges. 鈥淢y family members are my biggest supporters, and they all stand behind what I do,鈥� she says. 鈥淢y husband has been a mentor, teacher, and light in dark along this road. He鈥檚 been driving for 29 years and never stops pushing and helping me become a better driver.鈥�
Her husband鈥檚 experience and encouragement have played a major role in shaping her career. With his guidance and her own drive to succeed, Norfleet has developed the skill, confidence, and resilience needed to thrive in a demanding industry.
One of the turning points in Norfleet鈥檚 journey was joining the 午夜视频. While she may not always see other women on the road, the organization has opened her eyes to just how many are out there making their mark.
鈥淚t鈥檚 amazing to have such a large branch of strong, independent women that can support each other. Being a part of the 午夜视频 has been beneficial to me because it shows I鈥檓 not alone,鈥� she says.
Community, both personal and professional, has been vital to Norfleet鈥檚 success. She sees herself not only as a driver but also as an example and mentor for other women considering a career in trucking.
鈥淭he best advice I could give to other women wanting to join the trucking industry is to do it,鈥� she urges. 鈥淒on鈥檛 wait, don鈥檛 second guess. Just do it. Don鈥檛 let anything hold you back or stop you from achieving your goals.鈥�
Her enthusiasm is contagious, and it鈥檚 clear that her story is about more than just trucks. It鈥檚 about courage, belief, and creating opportunities where others may not think to look.
Although Norfleet has already accomplished a great deal, she has her sights set on even bigger goals. In the short term, she鈥檚 focused on helping her son through his first year of college. In the next five years, she hopes to be the owner of a small fleet.
Her vision for the future is not just about growth but about continuing to do what she loves. 鈥淚t鈥檚 a great honor to get out here and do what I love and help support other women who are or want to do this job,鈥� she says.
When asked about the best piece of career advice she鈥檚 received, Norfleet doesn鈥檛 hesitate to say, 鈥測ou learn something new daily. If you ever feel like you know everything and there is nothing left to learn, then quit. That鈥檚 when things can become dangerous.鈥�
These words reflect her grounded mindset and commitment to continuous improvement. They鈥檙e also a reminder that even seasoned professionals like Norfleet approach each day as a learning opportunity.

A fun fact that surprises many is her large rubber duck collection. 鈥淲hy? I don鈥檛 know,鈥� she laughs. 鈥淚 just love them so much, and they make them for every holiday.鈥�
She鈥檚 also a creative spirit who loves making Halloween decorations. It鈥檚 her favorite holiday of the year and she loves to let her imagination wander and create spooky things you can鈥檛 buy.
When she鈥檚 not on the road or crafting Halloween decor, you might catch her watching The Walking Dead 鈥� for the hundredth time. And while Las Vegas is next on her bucket list, it鈥檚 not for the usual reasons. 鈥淣ot to gamble or do the typical Vegas things. I just want to see the dancing waters,鈥� she says.
As for daily essentials, Norfleet can鈥檛 live without her hairbrush. It鈥檚 a small detail, but one that adds a human touch to someone whose life is anything but ordinary.
