Amanda Maynard has over 10 years of experience in consulting, business development, project management, and human resource management. Ms. Maynard has a track record of delivering exceptional results in areas focused on growth and profitability. She brings industry experience in Fleet Maintenance and DOT Compliance. Ms. Maynard holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance.
Thomas Jensen, of Holcim Products and Solutions, LLC currently serves as a Government Relations Advisor to the Women in ฮ็านสำฦต (WIT) leadership team. Jensen, a veteran multimodal transportation and trucking lobbyist who has been a fixture in commercial vehicle policy issues for decades, was previously the leading transportation advocacy executive for UPS, spent a short stint at a transportation technology start-up, and now works for the nation's foremost construction and building materials manufacturing company. Jensen advises WIT on general trucking industry affairs, while WIT advocacy efforts are primarily focused on workforce development, driver safety, employee security and commercial vehicle parking.
Sarah has been in the trucking industry for just over a decade and has been with Ryder since the beginning. She started her career as a Rental Manager Trainee, a level-entry position at Ryder, as soon as she graduated from the University of Quebec in Montreal.
Over the years, she has had multiple promotions and is now a Director of Operations for Eastern and Western Canada. She enjoys being responsible for more than 4500 units and keeping 100 technicians safe while they work on heavy duty vehicles.
Safety being Ryderโs priority, Sarah prides her team for winning Ryderโs Chairman Safety Award in 2023 meaning there were no injuries in her Business Unit, and for finishing second position in 2022. She is looking forward to many more years with Ryder.
Tracy Rushing began her career nearly 30 years ago in Forest, Mississippi, weighing trucks and calculating driver timesheets. Since then, she has advanced through various roles in the transportation industry, learning safety management, FMCSA Regulations and driver relations. In 2022, she joined RE Garrison ฮ็านสำฦต as the Executive Director of Safety, overseeing the safety, recruiting and orientation teams.
Rushing is an active member of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM), Truckload Carriers Associations (TCA) and the Safety & Maintenance Management Council of the Alabama ฮ็านสำฦต Association (SMMC). She serves on the Risk Management Advisory Committee of the ATA Comp Fund (RMAC), the Women in ฮ็านสำฦต Membership Committee (WIT) and as the chair of the Truckload Carriers Associationโs (TCA) Safety, Recruiting and Retention Committee.
Rushing has earned certifications from the North American Transportation Management Institute (NATMI) as a Certified Director of Safety (CDS) and as a NATMI Instructor. In 2023, she was honored as the Alabama Safety Director of the Year Runner-Up.
Faith and family have been her source of strength and motivation throughout her career. She is enthusiastic about mentoring and supporting women in trucking, believing strongly in their contributions to this vital industry.
